Q.   Who is eligible to participate?
A.   All current full-time and part-time Amtrak employees are eligible to participate in the Employee Referral Program. Human Resources staff, Management Committee members, and those directly responsible for the hiring decision of the referred candidate are ineligible to participate in the program.

Q.   How do I refer a candidate?
A.   Log on to site jobs.amtrak.com, click on current openings, search on job postings, fill out the employee referral form and submit the candidate’s resume.

Q.   When will I receive bonus points for my hired referral?
A.   Upon 90 days of the start date of the referred candidate.

Q.   How will I redeem my bonus points?
A.   Log on to site amtrak.jobs.com, click on cashout, submit number of points, request prize and email page to Human Resources for follow-up.

Q.   Can I accumulate my bonus points for a larger prize?
A.   Yes.
