Since 1971, Amtrak has been providing rail transportation for people all across our country, from small towns, to large cities, to hundreds of places in between. We are in the process of introducing "high-speed" rail service to America. Our aim is to consistently deliver a high-quality, safe, on-time rail passenger service that exceeds customer expectations.

At Amtrak we are proud of the service we offer our customers. We are, however, always looking for ways to provide the highest quality of service. Service enhancements are one of the things we focus on day in and day out as we work on board the trains, along rights-of-way, in offices and at our many stations and support facilities around the system.
