SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Responsible for directing the day-to-day activities of the Transaction Processing Specialists (HR and Benefits). Evaluates team performance and resolves performance issues. Ensures achievement of high customer service levels and maintains staffing levels to meet operational objectives and adjusts team ratios as necessary. Assists in evaluating operational efficiencies of transaction team. Implements changes to transactional processes and/or standard operational procedures. Seeks improvements in day-to-day customer service delivery. Track Human Resources Shared Services (HRSS) metrics. Responsible for oversight and management of standard operating procedures, meeting process compliance standards and systems audit requirements.
Direct and oversee the day-to-day responsibilities of the Transaction Specialists and the customer service delivery of HRSS transaction services to the organization delivered through SAP and other HR systems. Ensure the Transaction Processing Specialists are complying with relevant data privacy and data protection policies and regulations; assist in the compliance of all laws and regulations through the delivery of HR operations and processes. Develop and maintain process for evaluating operational performance against established goals. Manage the implementation of business process improvements as they relate to the team. Act as a liaison with the HRSS Leader related to the Transaction Processing Specialists group.
EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Public Administration, Marketing, or other related field, or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
PREFERRED EDUCATION: Masters Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Public Administration, Marketing, or other related field.
WORK EXPERIENCE: Demonstrated professional HR experience, including demonstrated experience in a supervisory position, some experience in a HR shared services environment or other relevant experience. Proven experience in HR shared services, HR business process improvement and redesign, and operational management. SAP or Human Capital Management (HCM) systems experience.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Outstanding customer service focus and strong interpersonal skills; dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers
COMMUNICATION AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS: Superior verbal/written communication skills and attention to detail.
COMMENTS: Position is in Human Resources Shared Service Center located at 405 King Street, Wilmington, DE. Relocation benefits are available for current (as of 02/08/2010) Human Resources employees ONLY.
