SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Responsible for all aspects of delivering Human Resources Shared Services (HRSS) Transaction Processing functions for the organization. Ensures achievement of high customer service levels and maintains staffing levels to meet operational objectives and adjusts team ratios as necessary. Focuses on continuous process and/or operational improvements for the Transaction Processing group including proposing changes to business processes and/or assisting with creating new, more efficient transaction processes. Tracks HRSS metrics and prepares dashboard reports. Responsible for oversight and management of standard operating procedures, meeting process compliance standards and systems audit requirements.
Direct and oversee the responsibilities of Assistant Manager, Transactions and oversee the delivery of HRSS Transaction services to the organization. Evaluates HRSS trends and business cycles in order to predict long- and short-term staffing needs; oversees resource allocation for the Transaction Processing Specialists (HR and Benefits) group. Ensure Transaction unit operates in strict compliance with relevant data privacy and data protection policies and regulations. Provide support to Assistant Managers in scheduling and work distribution activities for the Transaction Processing Specialists group. Create monthly HRSS metrics scorecard.

EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Operations Management, Business Administration, Public Administration or other related field, or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.

WORK EXPERIENCE: Demonstrated professional HR experience, including demonstrated experience in a supervisory position, some experience in a HR shared services environment. Proven experience in HR Shared Services, HR business process improvement and redesign, operations or administration. SAP or Human Capital Management (HCM) systems experience.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Demonstrated effectiveness when dealing with dissatisfied customers

COMMUNICATION AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS: Superior verbal/written communication skills and attention to detail.

COMMENTS: Position is in Human Resources Shared Service Center located at 405 King Street, Wilmington, DE. Relocation benefits are available for current (as of 02/08/2010) Human Resources employees ONLY.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: 2 Assistant Managers, Transaction Processing.
