Service Attendant/Train Attendant (10 positions)
New Orleans, LA
Passenger Services Department
Salary: Per Labor Agreement
Provides all passenger related services aboard trains. Responsible for providing quality service to coach passengers. Duties include specification as outlined in Service Standards Manual. Must entrain and detrain passengers and assist with luggage. Keep restroom, surfaces, toilets and floors clean and dry. Making of beds is required. Must be well groomed and professional when dealing with passengers and co-workers.
Capable of waiting on tables in diner and adhere to FDA guidelines.
Must have a high school education or equivalent. Must have an adequate command of the English language and be capable of performing basic math. Must have three years of hospitality or customer service experience.
Prefer prior customer service or food service experience.
Must pass company physical examination and be able to lift 50 lbs.
Must have an excellent command of the English language and be able to communicate with passengers and co-workers.
Supervisory responsibilities: None.
Travel: 100 percent.
Other duties as assigned that are job specific related.
Must have prior satisfactory job performance.
