POSITION: Buildings and Bridges Mechanic - ARRA (13)
DEPARTMENT: Engineering
LOCATION: Princeton, NJ
SALARY: $21.31 per hour

INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL APPLICANTS
DUTIES: Will perform all of the duties of a B&B Mechanic in structural repairs to bridges, buildings and stations. This position performs general construction labor functions including working outdoors and in adverse weather conditions.
EDUCATION: High School diploma or equivalent. Prefer some type of trade school or technical training.
WORK EXPERIENCE: Must have satisfactory job experience and references. Must be able to work at heights and in adverse weather conditions. Prefer CDL License-Military experience in bridge construction experience and construction trade experience carpentry, welding, masonry. Experience working in a Carpenter Apprentice Program. Prior satisfactory job performance is required.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Valid driver's license is required at time of hire. Prefer CDL.
Must be willing to travel on the Southern District for these positions from New York City to Philadelphia, PA, plus the Albany area and will receive daily per diem and travel expenses.
Note: Three of the 13 positions must have a CDL Class A Drivers License.
COMMUNICATION AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS: Must be able to read, write and speak English.
