SUMMARY OF DUTIES: This systems developer position provides programming development, maintenance and support in a client server environment. Business applications under the management of this directorate include financial systems, AAMPS, Arrow-Business Interface system, Credit Card settlements application, Station Accounting, Revenue Ridership and other finance and distribution applications. This position is located in the Financial and Distribution Information Systems Group of IT.
EDUCATION: Bachelors degree in related field or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
PREFERRED EDUCATION: BS in Computer Science or a business-related discipline
WORK EXPERIENCE: Demonstrated experience in systems maintenance/development. Must be proficient in Visual Basic.Net, C#, ASP.Net, ADO.Net, SQL Server, DB2 and Microsoft Office software.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Satisfactory work history.
COMMUNICATION AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS: Excellent verbal and writing skills. Must interact with directors, managers, programmers and users in a professional manner that builds a cooperative team environment.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None.
