Summary of Duties:
Manages the Material Control operation in Sanford, Florida. Responsible for supervising, receiving, storing, issuing and distribution of all direct and indirect materials used in the repair and direct support of the Maintenance of Rolling Stock Equipment as well as the Amtrak system. Responsible for administrating and reconciling the cycle program, reviewing and monitoring inventory levels for various programs and maintenance materials.
Education (must have):
Bachelors degree in Business or related area or the equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience.
Work Experience (must have):
Proven demonstrated experience in materials management, warehouse inventory control, planning and distribution environment.
Work Experience (preferred):
Proven extensive experience in scheduling production control in heavy repair & return, railroad maintenance facility. Prior supervisor experience.
Other Requirements:
Proven working knowledge of Amtraks AAMPS and ASAP systems and managerial experience. Strong working knowledge of Corporate policies & procedures including safety, materials management and DOT (CFR49) requirements.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills:
Strong oral & written skills. Prior satisfactory job performance is required.

Direct 4 agreement.
