DUTIES: Responsible for turnaround and run through inspection, maintenance and repair of passenger cars. Must perform all duties maintenance, service, inspection and repair of equipment in accordance with FRA guidelines and Amtrak Stark Standard Maintenance procedures; and all duties as assigned.
EDUCATION: Must have high school diploma or Equivalent
WORK EXPERIENCE: Must have relevant mechanical experience, preferable railroad experience.
WORK EXPERIENCE: Preferred satisfactory work history, attendance and safety record. Railroad experience.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Familiar with machines, tools and other equipment required in courses of work performed.
COMMUNICATION AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS: Ability to communicate clearly in English, both written and orally.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None.
