DUTIES: To perform the duties of an Electrician including HVAC and refrigeration repairs and accordance with the applicable riles of the IBEW Agreement. This position will provide coverage for the turnaround service and scheduled maintenance. This position will also be responsible for plant maintenance when required. This position will need to be versed in locomotives and passenger car equipment and other duties as may be assigned in accordance with applicable work rules and agreements.
EDUCATION: Must have high school diploma
EDUCATION : Preferred Technical Training, HVAC & Refrigeration certification. Be able to read schematics.
WORK EXPERIENCE: Must have Electrical troubleshooting HVAC & Refrigeration Repairs, Must be EPA certified in all phases of Freon handling and recovery
WORK EXPERIENCE: Prefer Braise and solder copper piping.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Must have prior satisfactory job performance. Must be able to follow instructions from supervision and be able to perform with minimum amount of supervision. Willing to work varied hours, weekends and holidays.
COMMUNICATION AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS: Must be able to read, speak and understand English language. Must have good oral and written communication skills.
