SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Responsible for the overall operation and management of the HR Shared Services Center (SSC). Provides leadership, planning and prioritization for all HR SSC activities, which includes HR administration functions, employee transactions management, HR operations center and reporting. Responsible for achieving optimal levels of efficiency and effectiveness for the organization. Serves as key member of HRs management team and provides input into HRs business strategy. Manages day-to-day relationships between business unit stakeholders and HR operations center to ensure SAP data quality, accuracy and compliance objectives are met.

EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or other related field, or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.

PREFERRED EDUCATION: Masters Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration.

WORK EXPERIENCE: Extensive Human Resources experience in a large organization. Demonstrated direct supervisory experience and HR leadership experience with similar responsibilities. Proven experience in developing and evolving an organization that interfaces with employees, vendors, HR business owners and technology. Proven experience in HR business process improvement and redesign; and operational management.

PREFERRED WORK EXPERIENCE: HR Shared Services experience. Business process management experience. Working knowledge of SAP ERP applications such as MSS, ESS, Org Management, etc.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Strong team development and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information. Proven knowledge of HR and industry trends. Strong customer management experience and ability to manage customer expectations.

COMMUNICATION AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS: Superior verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills; demonstrates effective listening and questioning skills and is comfortable dealing with all levels in the organization.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Three direct reports covering up to 34 positions.

TRAVEL: 5%
