POSITION: Financial Analyst

DUTIES: This position is responsible for the audit and analysis of onboard, station and warehouse revenue transactions, for the purpose of identifying and reporting for shortages, and actual loss to the corporation. The incumbent will rely on a blend of existing revenue systems, databases and reporting tools, with a phasing in of newer applications and queries, to ensure accountability for these high volume transactions. Incumbent is required to expeditiously drill to specific transactional sources of shortage and loss and to act timely on results. Will be required to review and approve adjustment to variance requests submitted by OBS crew base management. Automation in food and beverage sales/inventory reporting, and ticket sales reporting, has created an environment where transactional records are primarily electronic. The incumbent must demonstrate an acute understanding of the processes that create the records and will be required to apply this knowledge toward utilization of data filters and trend indicators focused on identification of potential loss. Position entails frequent written and verbal communication with field management and with appropriate investigative and enforcement authorities to discuss findings of procedural failures with revenue impact, and apparent fraud. Required to perform research, data, and analysis on revenue transactions as assigned.
EDUCATION: Must have a Bachelors degree in Business or equivalent combination of education, training and work experience.
WORK EXPERIENCE: Must have demonstrated experience in high volume sales audit and analysis processes. Highly proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, Arrow, RTDS, MCCS, SIR, V-Trak and CLientLine. Prefer sales and audit experience in the travel or restaurant industry. Proven record of documenting internal and external fraud for presentation to law enforcement authorities. Prior satisfactory job performance is required.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Solid understanding of sales accounting principles. Sound logic and decision making skills. Ability to quickly absorb procedural knowledge and apply it readily in a fast paced sales reporting environment.
COMMUNICATION AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS: Effective communicator to various levels and departments within the corporation.

TRAVEL: 10%
COMMENTS: Position is located at 30th Street Station Philadelphia, PA. Saturday and Sunday rest days, with work hours approximately 7:30AM to 4:00PM
