POSITION: B & B Mechanic (4)
DEPARTMENT: Engineering
LOCATION: Chicago, IL
SALARY: $21.31 to $23.68 per hour

INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL APPLICANTS
DUTIES: Duties include making repairs to structures. Bridge maintenace and repairs. The required skills include but are not limited to, carpentry, painting, masonary, concrete, landscaping and cleaning. Some equipment operation, back hoe, bob cat, manlifts are required. Must be capable of working on bridges, roof tops and other elevated locations. On track safety responsibilities (Watchman/Flagman) under the riles and instruction of RWP and General Code of Operating Rules.
EDUCATION: Must have High School diploma or equivalent. Prefer Trade School.
WORK EXPERIENCE: Must have five years building maintenance.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Candidate must have a valid drivers license.
COMMUNICATION AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS: Must be able to speak and read/write English.
