Position Title: PE Administration Services Clerk (Corp)

SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Managing and setting up Amtrak FedEx accounts, researching data, preparing statistical reports, keeping activity logs, updating account information in FE (FedEx) database system. (Incumbent will be trained and become proficient in Amtraks FE system). Processing Headquarters parking requests by setting up new monthly parkers, processing payroll deduction forms, distributing parking cards/hangtags, coordinate with WUS parking garage office to reconcile issues and concerns. Interfacing with Amtrak Executive offices re: parking, FedEx, and building issues with confidentiality and discretion. Issuing HQ building access cards for 10 G Street (procure cards, request specific access, distribute cards, and maintain records). Preparing/printing daily FinGate reports for staff. Assisting and supporting HQ Facilities Management (field facility calls, forward information to Facilities staff and landlords at 60/40 Massachusetts Avenue and 10 G Street HQ facilities for appropriate action). Processing office supply orders, as requested, requisitions and payments to vendors via eTrax, and preparing monthly journal entries for approval/processing. Must be a self starter and a team player. Proficient in utilizing numerous computer programs (i.e. MS Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent.

PREFERRED EDUCATION: Some college preferred.

WORK EXPERIENCE: Proficient computer skills and use of Microsoft Office software. Willing to learn new software and programs.

PREFERRED WORK EXPERIENCE: Advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel and prior experience utilizing Outlook.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Prior satisfactory job performance, attendance and safety performance required. Must be able to successfully complete all training. Must be able to cope with heavy workload. Typing speed of 35 WPM required.

COMMUNICATION AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS: Communicates, comprehends and responds to statements and instructions, both orally and in writing.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None.

SALARY RANGE: Per union agreement. (External applicants: Entry level at $17.75)
