Upon completion of training, the position will be 2nd or 3rd shift.
INTERNAL & EXTERNAL CANDIDATES CONSIDERED - NO RELOCATION BENEFITS
DUTIES: Will perform all scheduled and unscheduled repairs to all equipment assigned at the Renssealer Maintenance Facility in accordance with Amtrak Maintenance Requirements. Will be required to perform various assignments in the PM scheduled, unscheduled, BO repairs and 22 inspections. Will adhere to all Amtrak, FRA, FDA and EPA requirements. Perform all other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION: Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
WORK EXPERIENCE: Must have knowledge in airbrakes and must have the ability to repair coach interiors.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Upon completion of training program, this individual must satisfactorily pass a written examination. Must have prior satisfactory job performance.
COMMUNICATION AND Must possess good written and verbal communication skills.
