POSITION: Assistant Supervisor - ET
DEPARTMENT: Engineering
LOCATION: New York, NY
SALARY: $31.99 per hour

INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL APPLICANTS
DUTIES: Supervises, directs, plans and coordinates all maintenance and repairs related to Electric Traction 3rd Rail System. Territory: Tunnel Portal @ Hackensack MP 3 SSYD, Harold Tower and entire DC Territory, New York Division.
EDUCATION: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
WORK EXPERIENCE: Must have AMT-2, NORAC, RWP, ARASA Assistant Supervisors Test, FRA Safety Standards, Special Instructions and Corporate Policies and Procedures. Prior satisfactory job performance is required.
Prefer: Experience as a journeyman electrician, rigging, and knowledge of tools, electricity and safety procedures.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Must have a valid drivers license/CDL license preferred.
COMMUNICATION AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS: Must read, write and speak the English language clearly and have the ability to communicate well. Desire and ability to work in a team environment.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Approximately 40 employees.
TRAVEL: 50%
