POSITION: Assistant Supervisor of Structures
DEPARTMENT: Engineering
LOCATION: New York, NY
SALARY: $30.63 per hour

INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL APPLICANTS
DUTIES: This position is responsible for planning, scheduling, supervising and ordering materials for work performed by building maintenance staff. Supervises and develops preventative maintenance program schedules and prepares necessary reports consistent with regulatory requirements. Maintains quality control records for elevators, escalators and cleaning. Must maintain a safe work environment. Arrange for safety and skill training as necessary. Operates within budgetary requirements and maintain records associated with same. Apprises the building managers of day-to-day work and projects.
EDUCATION: Must have High School diploma or equivalent.
WORK EXPERIENCE: Must have demonstrated relevant experience. Prior satisfactory work experience required.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: AMT-2, RWP, NORAC
COMMUNICATION AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS: Must have a background in maintenance of large commercial/industrial building systems, i.e. escalators, elevators, and HVAC systems. Must be proficient in reading blueprints and schematics.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: 15-20 direct
