POSITION: Radio Maintainer C&S
DEPARTMENT: Engineering
LOCATION: Philadelphia, PA
RATE OF PAY: $28.80 per hour

INTERNAL & EXTERNAL APPLICANTS
DUTIES: Radio Maintainers work shall consist of installing base stations, mobile radios, affixing, connecting, testing, repairing and programming of all radio equipment. Performing routine maintenance inspections of radio sites and other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION: Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent with additional technical school training. Prefer ASEE or equivalent technical school training.
WORK EXPERIENCE: Must have a practical working knowledge of testing and maintaining two-way radio equipment and systems. Prior satisfactory job performance required.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Must have a valid driver's license.
COMMUNICATION AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS: Must read, write and speak English.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None.
TRAVEL: 5 %
COMMENTS: Applicant must pass Amtrak's practical Radio Maintainers Exam/Evaluation.
