SUMMARY OF DUTIES: The Director, Credit Card Security is responsible for managing Amtraks policies, processes, and agreements with respect to credit card security. This position leads the companys PCI-DSS and fraud-related programs, working with all Amtrak departments, in particular IT, Corporate Security and Amtrak Police. Additionally, the Director, Credit Card Security represents Amtrak with the credit card companies, payment processors, business partners, and other third parties. This position reports to the Senior Director, Credit Cards.
EDUCATION: Bachelors degree in related field or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
PREFERRED EDUCATION: MBA preferred.
WORK EXPERIENCE: Demonstrated hands-on experience in credit card security, information security, information technology, and payment transaction processing. Direct experience managing PCI-DSS activities. Extensive experience in data security. Very strong, proven project management skills. Demonstrated success in leadership roles in a large organization
PREFERRED WORK EXPERIENCE: Travel Industry experience preferred.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Strong expertise in data security. Strong knowledge of credit card systems. Mastery of Excel, Access and Word. High ethical standards.
Minimum one of the following certifications required, additional certifications preferred.
-Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
-Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP)
-Certified Payment Industry Security Manager (CPISM)
-Certified Payment Industry Security Auditor (CPISA)
COMMUNICATION AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS: Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Leadership of project team members
TRAVEL: 10%-15%
